Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the flour and whisk continuously for about 1-2 minutes to create a roux.
Slowly pour in the whole milk while whisking to prevent lumps. Continue to cook until the mixture thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
Reduce the heat to low and add the cream cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
Mix in the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Gently fold in the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese until fully melted and creamy.
Combine the cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce, stirring well to coat.
Pour the mac and cheese mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Evenly sprinkle the breadcrumbs on top for a crispy finish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
Allow to cool for a few minutes before garnishing with chopped parsley and serving.
Notes
Allow to cool slightly before serving for better texture.
